Pretty much everything depending on what engine originally came in the 03 edge. You may need to use your wiring harness's, and do some plumbing to.

Depends what the clutch came off...clutch may...

Depends what the clutch came off...clutch may initially fit, but belt widths changed over the years as did the clutches having wider rollers. Something to take into account if using an older clutch...

Outside of replacing the n/s o-rings if leaking, dropping 1 jet size from 460's won't matter much imo.

Saw the same happen on a 600. Had to have buddy who's a chassis fabricator cut, make, and weld a new inlet section for the can to mate up with the end of the pipe.

Only time i ever saw rider standing up in new england was back in 60-70's. Their sleds crapped out so often, it was easier for them to just step off the sled to fix them or to begin walking.

New tracks may stretch just a little bit, but not to the point if you have issues with it being too tight already,.....imo its not going to stretch enough for your needs.

My 98-99 xc 600's never got better than 10 mpg...

My 98-99 xc 600's never got better than 10 mpg ever in quebec. They were on the thirsty side. Big difference with the 00 600 ves. I use to get 125 miles to a tank before needing to look for fuel.

If the sled as the mikuni carbs, when those o rings begin leaking it can be just enough to notice bad fuel mileage. Sled can still run fine.
There's only one spring in each clutch. Smaller o.d....

As far as the clutch springs getting weak, could...

As far as the clutch springs getting weak, could have lower engagement or lower peak rpm if the primary spring is sacked out. More likely the driven spring causing the sled to be boggy or lazy...
