Trying pretty hard now to package this smart and not be a total spaghetti shitshow ..
And overall a sleek hotrod .. not shit hanging out all over as cool as that is... Soon as I had a glimpse I could do something clean .. that's where I'm headed..
I'll ask a stupid question because I'm just wondering...I take it with a 2 stroke it doesn't matter how far away the turbo is from the end of the expansion chamber as far as helping the turbo spool up faster?
Can't say it does not matter. Just can't say I'm convinced exh temp at turbine entry is going to be different enough than what's more traditional . Mind you we are taking a range of 6-10" longer in my case than many others from pipe cone to turbine. .
And when you start talking distance from piston face to turbine inlet. Im within reason . Perhaps the far side of reasonable..

We also have to bear in mind that this setup or any winter drag race turbo setup gets to exploit some grey areas. And not so grey's.
Like less concern or none really of transient response . We have a 2 step to light the turbo and once you let go the button I firmly believe this turbo will come on incredibly fast. And that it will take all 3 gates to control the rate of increase ( boost ramp ) I don't not believe we will be waiting for anything moreso trying to hold it down ..
However .. trying to say.. llaunch it without 2step ? . My goal in the sizing experiment is to see if we put a large compressor with just a lose enuf backside would allow the engine to breathe enuf to hit like a good improver and and have a wicked non stop ramp in power till you reach desired boost. So the transition is less noticeable . Instead of the turbo being a low rpm choke holding the engine back until the turbo sees enough wheel speed to start giving the engine breath and then it finally makes the crossover and rpm picks up like crazy .. this is turbo lag. A.k.a. "engine lag"
