Default Who's got an 850 Rush?

With the Rush being discontinued, I'm on a search for another one and I'm curious if the 850 owners believe the motor is head and shoulders above the 800?

You can still get a pros switchback 137 unless you are dead set on a short track.

I’m sure the rush is gone next year. But, it would be nice to see the chassis in the new skin. The AXYS XCR is a good plat form.

No new rush for 2021, so I'm currently looking for a 2020 but curious if the 850 is worth the extra coin?

[QUOTE=Jesusfreak;20422858]No new rush for 2021, so I'm currently looking for a 2020 but curious if the 850 is worth the extra coin?[/QUOTE

I only ride with a couple of 800ho sleds(1 studded, 1 not). They couldn't touch my 850sba(studded w/gd 1.575) in the few friendly drag races we've had. When we stop to talk, i always notice that their skiis(along with others) are shaking like a mf'er and mine are still. This is a very smooth, sneaky fast motor that I would never trade for an 800ho. This isn't me shitting the 800, it's a great motor, and when we swapped, I can see how people love it. Honestly, it felt like it it might be faster than mine, if we didn't know different. Removing speed as a factor in the decision process, I would still answer your "worth the extra coin question", with YES!!

Goodluck, I'm sure you'll be be happy with either one.

Thanks for the replies. I know it has more top end and the vibration of the 800 has always been a problem for some with unbalanced factory clutching.

the 850 is a better built motor. everything from the no bleed coolant system, to the very neat clean wiring, better motor mounts, fixed tps one piece head, etc. beefy crank designed for this motor not one adapted from a 600. love my 850.
