Default 2016 switchback 800 pro s vForce reeds install help

I'm putting reeds on a 2016 switchback 800 pro s and installing vforce reeds, the intake boots have fingers and the vforce reeds have a finger inserts in them, you just take out the finger inserts out and you don't cut off the fingers on the stock boots right? Thanks

OK, just making sure we were talking the right motor since Polaris used both the 800CFI and the 800HO in 2016 and the intake boots are different.

The new reeds included stuffers since the same part# retrofits into the 800CFI which had a flat face on the boot. You can take them out since the HO boots have them molded in.
You could have also just bought replacement petals for the original reeds, VForce sells them separately
