Default Adding Pidd to a sled

Looking for a little bit of direction. I have a 2018 switchback xcr 600. Just acquired a 2019 Indy xc 850 that was totaled out by insurance. Want to swap my standard display for the pidd in the 850. Cant seem to find anything about if it can be done or how to do it. Anyone have experience with this?? Thanks.

Can be done rather easy, but the miles follow the gauge. Personally if I didn't have the PIDD I'd just use a GPS

It will interchange. You will need the wiring harness for that gauge also.

If you are parting out the 850 I would think you could sell the pidd gauge and wiring harness then take that money and buy a Garmin Montana. You would have extra cash and the Montana can be used for many other hobbies throughout the year.

Or just grab a $30 ebay Nuvi, shoegoo the trim edges and tape the speaker closed and be golden. Holds up really well.

Thank you for the help. I actually bought a garmin Nuevo with trail maps this spring but haven’t used it yet. Would figure the PIDD was superior, and this opportunity sorta fell into my lap. I’ll go the garmin route. Thank you again.

Pidd has one monstrous advantage. Zooming from the bars . I really miss that, but I use the nuvi on my wheeler and sled with great results.
