Default No start after spring maintenance?

Just got done going through my 2018 Switchback XCR 800. Drained gas and added aviation fuel, removed belt, picked the seals and greased the jack shaft and driveshaft bearings, removed battery, changed chain case lube and set tension, removed and cleaned the exhaust valves/ports and then fogged lower end through transfer ports... Put the hood on and plugged main harness together. Went to pull start to distribute fogging oil and nothing. Would not fire and the info center does not light up (blue) while pulling it over. Thought maybe the battery had to be installed to complete circuit, installed and starter turns the engine over fine but still no fire and no blue back lit display on the dash? I do not have a repair manual (need to suck it up and get one) can anyone give me an idea of where to start and where the fuses are located? Maybe a famous relay problem? Any help is much appreciated, thanks in advance.

I've never worked on one of those, but you mentioned the main harness. If you haven't yet, check it good for broken pins or wires inside the plastic part of the plug. I've seen harnesses have broken wires or pins after someone pulls them apart roughly.

Turn kill switch off. Holld wfo and pull over 3 time. Then turn kill switch on and try to start. I hold throttle at 50%.
I've had to do this 3 times the last 2 seasons. Starts every time after the no start symptom.

I'll be dammed!! Did as you instructed and it came right to life. How in the world did you discover that sequence? Is it only when battery voltage is removed and it resets the ECU or something. Don't think I read that in the owners manual! LOL Many, many thanks.

Next time, just add stabil, fog it, and put it away.

Av gas has zero ethanol, 110 min. octane and a two year shelf life. Love that stuff for storage, even add stabil for old time sake Lol. Lucky I can buy it at a local municipal air port with a flight school. At only a little over $5/gallon its great stuff.

it was flooded from fogging oil and av gas. av gas is meant to be used at high er altitude where the air is colder. so the reed vapor pressure is higher than pump gas. this the oil and the outside temp is why it flooded. with the kill switch off and holding the throttle wide open and pulling it over you pushed the rich mixture out of the ex,.

Well, hope you have better luck with av gas then i've had as far as sleds go. I had no issues with it in bikes, but for some unexplained reason the sleds didn't like it.

I left some high octane VP in my motocrosser and it really screwed up orings and seals over the winter. From the petcock right through to the carb. Sucked. Wont do that anymore. Drain the shit out and dump it in the truck and call it a day
