Default team tied set up for xcr sb 850

i will run my team tied on my 850 xcr sb but after many test i dont find good helix angle . I try 68/63 f , 66/62 f and 64/60 f and i dont like the result. Anybody here run team tied clutch on ther 850 ? I look for 71 or 73 start angle with 55 or 57 for final angle . I run stm weight 74.8 gram with 120/310 and 1 hacksaw with 108 gold digger. Any suggestion ?

With the tied I think you are going to want to be over 70.Sounds like you are on the right track with the helix you are looking for but you might need a little stiffer spring.

Why did you not like the result with the 64/60?

I believe the Tied needs at least 14 more degrees than a non-Tied helix. I use one with a 75/59 angle.
And, you don't need a very strong spring because the track load feedback is much higher.

On the 800’s the 64/60F is hard to beat. Thinking it will work on the 840 also. The choice of spring will not be much different then with the TS-04. So, I would try a 140-220, 140-240 according to what some other are saying what’s working. Some are saying you need 8000 peak, I would start loading the primary until your there, it’s probably going to take more then secondary changes to get peak performance. It will take another season to get more input from others on what’s working and what’s not. But, that’s what I would start with.

When i test the combo 64/60 with 155/222 spring i have the feeling that the sled dont accelerate much faster than the stock tss4 with 58/44. The sled will run 8250 rpm and dont push . Maybe i will try another spring like 140 220

Just for something quick put the stock 140/200 spring in with 64/60 and see how that works. Might lack a little on back shifting , but should improve acceleration over the 155/122, and lower the rpm a little.
