I find it hard to believe that Arctic Cat will not still quote and build a 2020? What if the early season purchases did not meet their expectations? I also find it hard to believe that they would not extend some option for a dealer to purchase for their showroom...Has anyone tried to get a price yet? Just curious?

I was told that if a dealer wanted to buy additional sleds they would have to purchase them with deposit just like a regular person. Te dealer in my area is going to a local bank for a loan deal to have some stock of new machines as he is sold out of leftovers and 2019s. He is working with cat to get some 18 and 19 leftovers to help his stock. He tells me that the 20s will be sold at close to list price as he will have short supply. 18s and 19s will be heavily discounted from Cat as per his conversation with Cat. Even if Cat gives in to dealer demand, to protect early orders they will have to be sold at much higher prices or they will look stupid. Regardless, there will be no more deals for leftovers as there will likely not be any. This will make our used sleds worth more to dealers. IT sucks for the short term but long term it will help us all who own cat sleds.

My local dealer posted this.....

3 side by sides have been sold, in the last 10 days, leaving us with only 3 left to sell for possibly months.... Dealers are trying to buy our inventory due to supply and demand. Please let any of your friends know, that may be in the market, that supply is dwindling fast. This is true for ATV's, Sleds and Side bys.

So it looks like to me cat is making anything for them to sell for this summer.

just for giggles, I called a dealer for sled pricing and he said cat had extended the Snomageddon through today. Hmmm something fishy in the air?

My dealer sold way more 2020's than he expected to. I think this is going to be a very good thing for AC moving forward and for innovative new technology to be released because they wont be sitting on a bunch of leftovers that the new stuff makes obsolete and hard to sell.

Was in to my dealer to pick up dd fluid and they sold more 2020's than they expected mostly all Riot's didn't say how many but they already have 3 new left overs on the floor for sale. They got some 2017's because the price is fantastic and say this is a good set up for them. They can sell customers new sleds non current at amazing prices and most of their regulars that buy frequently already ordered 2020's. They are excited for 2021 as they say Cats says new technology and designs are coming.
