Default 2020 Thundercat "iACT" should I order it with or without it?

For all you guys that have iACT. I need a little help. Should I order the sled with it or without it? Do you guys like it? It just seems like, once you set the sled up, it should be good. Thanks for the input.

Three words bud.... Fuck Ya Bud! I love it Bro. If you on the heavier side as a rider you will love it even more. You can't beat this Dial-A-Bump setup. Makes shitty trails much better.

Set it and forget it is a fallacy.

I don't have it on my 2019 Thundercat, and like the idea of setting my shocks at different settings, something you can't do with Iact ,the shocks are so easy to adjust with the big knobs I just can't see spending the extra money for it, most guys that had it had trouble with theres this winter

I didn't get it as I figured I would set my shocks at different numbers from front to rear. Well that didn't happen and now I wish I had it as its a pain in azz to get off and dig snow out to click them. I would now spend the extra cash to get this option on my sled. The ride is really good on these new turbo cats.

Same reply as on the other forum.

I have it on my 2019 8000 Limited and really like it. If I would be ordering a 2020 I would get it again. The reason is because I'm an idiot when it comes to setting up suspension. If you are knowledgeable on this then you probably do not need it. I'm just a trail rider and run into many types of conditions. Sometimes the trails are smooth and then the next trail is choppy or rough. I like playing with the different settings when this happens on the fly. I do find that I have it set to medium most of the time though.

I have had one problem at the beginning with iAct. The right front shock was not changing to the firm setting. I was not getting any error codes on the display. The dealer replaced the shock.

It would be nice if a person could try a sled with and with out it on the same conditions to see if there is much of a difference. Meaning I don't know how Cat sets up the suspension on the non iActs. (Is it set up soft or medium?) At times I don't feel much of a difference between the soft and medium settings. The firm is noticeable. Hopefully it is working and changing from soft to medium and back. The display says everything is working but it also said that before when the right shock was not working.

With all that said my vote is yes on iAct. Good luck with your decision. Either way you are getting a new Cat!
