Default Studding

Possibly studding a Crosstour 9000 146 Cobra 1.35 lug track for more cruising type trail riding vs aggresive. Want to do less vs more # studs.

Any suggestions ?

I would just do a three studs per lug pattern down the middle of the track only.

That should work well for you.

Congrats.
Nice sled btw.
Very nice.

Stud choice with a light pattern ? (That would be least apt to pull out)

with that cobra track on the crosstour Rubersidedown is right on the money. 3 per down the middle snowstuds B84 or B85 tall backers sucked in flush will last longer then the track. I transferred my 6yr old B86s over to a new track last year, rocking over 250hp since day one

We put 96 quiet lug pattern on our 3 9000 sleds. Very happy.

I Ran 1.56 studs @ 3 per bar last year on a PT tune on my 1.25 track it was pretty good, late season 2 days on nothing but ice that i had to keep stopping to let the sled cool down and no tear outs,1600 miles. I ran all doubles (4 per bar) on my last sled and after the comparison I think I'm a all singles from now on, but going a little longer this year.

Snowstud recommends 3 per in middle (153) and likely what I will do.

Interesting that on the Arctic Cat site they sell the 146” stud kit using Woodys and 2 per (102).

I suppose either will work !
