Default Hanging idle 1100

Anyone ever experience a hanging idle? My xf hangs around 2000-2300 for about 30 seconds then drop down to 1500+- the sled runs good otherwise aside from my fuel gauge issue. The float always ends up stuck under a fuel line and reads empty

Had this happen on my 13. There is a idle screw that the throttle plate lever bumps against (where the cable attaches) on the throttle body assembly. If you or someone has moved this at all it can cause this to happen. I moved mine 1/4 turn in attempt to increase the idle slightly, it didn't change idle once it leveled out but did cause high idle for 10-20 seconds as you describe. Now all this is assuming you have proper throttle cable deflection.

Good idea I was thinking the same thing. When I bought the sled it barely idled if at all so cleaned the iacv a few times and it idles well now just hangs for about 30 seconds. Will try loosening that screw up some
