Default '13 SB Assault Studs

Buddy pulled the trigger on a 13 switchback assault 144" cobra track. Planning to stud with most likely 1.5" stud boys up the center for now. My question is, do the 13's have tunnel protectors from the factory, or do i need to install them ??

I asked my dealer this before I got my '13, he said it does need them.

You have to add them. Kit is around $150 retail.

Ride it first, you'll never stud it!

Ok, thank you. I found that the '12's needed them, wasnt sure if the '13's had them or not. Guess i'll order them up.

Unfortunately, it seems necessary in our riding conditions. 70% trail- 30% off.

Have a look in the for sale section on here. Someone is selling a set at a significant discount from retail. I decided to stud my SBA aswell. I purchased enough to do a 3 3 2 pattern but may just do a 2-2-2 pattern. I went with 1.450 Woody's mega bites.
