I am having a problem with my oil light coming on and staying on. It seems to happen when I stand the sled up coming off a big drift. The oil light stays on until I shut the sled off for a few seconds and goes out when I restart. I am keeping a close eye on the oil level, and there is lots in the tank.

Anyone else have this problem with the 2012's?

Affected 2012 Models:

- 600 Switchback
- 600 Switchback ES
- 800 Switchback PRO-R ES
- 800 Switchback PRO-R ADV. INTL
- 600 RMK 155 ES
- 800 PRO RMK 155

A production line quality check found some throttle cables that do not meet Polaris quality standards. Some throttle cable outer sheaths were found to be too thin giving the cable a ribbed appearance that could potentially crack creating a cosmetic quality issue. As a result, an inspection procedure was implemented on the production line and Polaris has inspected and repaired all remaining vehicles at the factory. To ensure that all affected models already in the field meet Polaris quality standards, please read the inspection procedure outlined on page two and inspect the throttle cables on affected models outlined in the table below. Replace the throttle cable only when the outer sheath fails inspection.

Inspection:
Remove side panels and hood. Inspect the entire length of the throttle cable from the throttle block to the throttle body in the engine compartment. Reference the accompanying photos of an acceptable (Photo A) and non-acceptable throttle cable (Photo B). Replace the throttle cable if either one of the following items is noted:

a) The outer sheath has the appearance similar to convoluted tubing (cable tubes ridges can be seen through sheath).
b) The outer sheath is cracked exposing the silver-colored cable tube underneath.

Repair Procedure:
Contact your local Polaris dealer and have them book your sled in for service. Reference service bulletin S-11-03.

Just to be clear does this effect the 800 PRO RMK 163?
