Default 2014 XF High Country gauge issue

I was riding out in MT for the week(from MN). Towards the end of the week my gauge cluster was working intermittent. When it was out it put the sled into limp mode. When i started the sled in the morning to warm it up the gauge did not work. Some times later in the day it worked and would stay on for the rest of the day. We tore open the sled and went through every wire harness, plug, and fuse. Everything looked good. We even went to the extent of trying a different gauge cluster from my buddies 2013 XF and it also didnít work on my sled. Talked to a dealer and they suggested the voltage regulator, not sure about this as some times it works.

Has anyone else had this issue? How did you fix it?

My voltage regulator blew, but did not affect my guage. It melted my hand grips, melted my heat shield and blew my new leds

Thanks for the response. Weíll try and get a different regulator and see if that fixes it.
