Default Secondary clutch bushing loose in bore

Hi guys,

2014 M8000. The bushing on the sliding sheave of my secondary clutch was starting to fall apart, so I ordered a Cat replacement (pn 0648-831). Time to install it, it is loose in the bore of the sheave… outer diameter is about 5mils smaller than the bore. I couldn't compare with the old one because I broke it in half during removal. I also removed the bushing in the helix, which is the same as the moving sheave. This one I didn't destroy. It fits tight in the movable sheave bore just like the new one should. The new bushing is loose in the helix bore also.

Any one had any issues with these bushings?

I got another on ordered from Cat, we'll see how this one fits…

Thanks for any input!

Make sire you correct one, or maybe they packed wrong one for your year and helix. You have a stock helix correct?

Yes, stock helix.

The part number that is on the package match the number in the part scheme on Countrycat. Package was unopened too.
