looking for a measurement 2018 xf high country

anyone have eye to eye shock measurements for the rear skid, rear most shock? my sled is 500 miles away. thinking about ditching the coil over for the rear float. Ski

I have the same sled & am looking at the same upgrade. Would love a FLOAT EVOL QS3 there. The measurement is around 16.75" (this is with the shock in the skid). I have a FLOAT EVOL 3 R out of my 2013 XF, but I believe it's around a 1/2" too short.

I couldn't find any aftermarket offerings for a FLOAT shock on this sled - let me know if you do.

17" eye to eye, '17-'08 use 16". You can use the 16" just need to use the shorter rear link.

Great info. So does the HC (141) use the same shocks as the M sleds then?

thank you! now off to search for a 17" eye to eye float, float2, float3, or evol. loved my 09 M with the float and the burandt kit in it. Ski

I just so happened to have a new shock linkage from my old 2013 XF laying in the shop and my old Fox EVOL R from that same sled. With the shorter shock linkage, everything lines right up utilizing the shorter shock. Nice!!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...017bd1fcaf.jpg
