Default 2019 zr8000 rr secondary question

At the risk of asking a dumb question I have a couple. I was going through my sled today and decided to pull the secondary and clean and scotch brite pad both clutches and wash the belt. Well when I took the secondary off it was separated. I am not familiar with the team clutches so is this normal and should the two sheaves be aligned in some way when I put them back on the sled. Is there something broken here? I attached a couple pictures for reference. I am lost on this one.

Did the same thing. Each part is balanced so you do not need perfect alignment, but if you look at the inner half, you should see a slight mark where the belt removal tool rubbed. Align it to the bottom of that line with the adjuster hole. Dont do what I did and over tightened the bolt holding the clutch on and snapped the bolt. 60 ft. Lbs is what you need.

Ps....and on another important note....do not try and open sheaves with belt tool if you have just reversed!!! Make sure you pull forward with sled first or you will snap tool or strip hole.
