Default 2019 Ctec WOT rpm low/erratic

I have seen a couple of threads about this issue but never any resolution, has anyone figured this out? I have a 19 XF8000 Cross Country, bought this year, after break in it was running 8100-8200 WOT. Last couple of outings 7400-7800, very dead from 60 up, no top end. Will rev a little better out of hole sometimes. Put a light rider on and same result. Dealer was no help, looking for ideas where to look.

My 2018 did the same for the first 2 seasons. Drove me crazy. Dealers are clueless. Got the Precision Stage 1 flash this year and the issue is gone.
$600 later but I am happy.

your getting knock and the comp is pulling timing. also will not allow your power valves from opening as they open [email protected] put some real good 93 gas or some race fuel in it to up your mixture to make sure it wont pull timing. leave everything else alone.

Have been using 93 from multiple places as well as busy station near home, doesn’t seem to matter. Will try adding some race fuel but I doubt that is the issue. Ran the same gas as some friends with modded sleds that notice right away if gas is not up to snuff and they had no issues.

Try a new belt first.

These stock 111 belts are very inconsistent. As soon as they take on some miles RPM's drop considerably.

We rode together this week and there's something wrong. I'm quite a bit lighter and it won't pull anymore rpm than with him on it. Trails were groomed and set perfect both of my sleds were running amazing! We filled up at the same stations and with my mods need at least 93octane. I can't quite tell what I was experiencing when riding his but the rpm is a little erratic, almost like hitting a rev limiter but really mild. Great sled overall and pretty peppy but I'm a gearhead and can tell when something's not right. On the bright side we had a Blast riding at least!

Did you change the weights? Been through this with my sled not wanting to pull heavier weights time after time, went back to stock and the rpm's are right there when I want them, over rev's a little bit but performs overall way better.

I had a similar issue on my ZR8000 2018, I found a crack on my primary clutch (yes the recall was done) and I replaced it and sled is fine now
