I have heard that it has gained some low end crispness with the flash.
Put 70miles on my 20’ Riot today with the precision flash and the stumbles/stutters are gone. Snow wasn’t the best for feeling power gains but the overall feel is much cleaner. The idle does still hang at times when coming to a stop but I just let it do it’s thing.

Get the Precision flash and be done with it. IMO it is a must for these 800 C-TEC's. My '18 ran like shit with all the symptoms you guys are describing and I almost gave up on it before I got the flash this year. Sled runs crisper, stronger and cooler with really no downsides that I can see so far. Stupid hanging idle is gone too. No flames, but I didn't have flames before the flash either Sucks we have to pay an aftermarket company to make these sled run like they should but it is worth it. I just think Cat is too strapped by the EPA to make a flash that will make these things run right. I'm seeing that 2020's are having run quality issues too....

This is the third year of the CTEC is it not? Cat should have it dialed in by now. Nothing worse then being a guinea pig.

I'll stick with my Zuke for now.

Because they are trying to do something that can’t be done very well with a 800. There is a reason the other 2 have 850s now

18 & 19 800 was the DSI engine
20 is SDI, different injection system.

I've had 4 800 Suzuki HO and 4 800 C-Tec.
I'll stick with the C-Tec even with it's little quirks

CTEC has the low and mid grunt that the Zuke doesnt have plus doesnt guzzle oil. I'll still take the CTEC as well.

Not a 20 but my 19 has a weird bucking at 5k rpm when the exhaust temp is lower. It will buck around that rpm until you give it enough to get through it, but then I'm going faster than I want and then I slow down and I'm back in it. The way it's clutched it's in that 5k rpm alot when I'm just cruising around. When exhaust temp is over 650 or so it's all gone but it can be kind of a pain and difficult to warm it up slowly.

At 900 miles my 18's stock reeds were chipping on the edges and the cage's molded plastic was starting to chip apart inside.

The vforce quality is much better than stock. Idle is a little lower for a bit but thats telling me they seal much better, my sled does not hang idle at all, it drops right down.

Ive got a small amount of miles since rebuild and vforce so im hoping idle actually goes up a tad. But 0 hanging idle as of now. The low/mid pull on these sleds is pretty amazing. Cant wait to see how the torsional setup i run on my 17 does in this sled. Im guessing it will be hard to hold on to the bars lol
