Also a dyno will tell some what and how much they have to spend or do to make it competitive to the 850cc class.

When you get one shop claiming 165+ hp and others low 150's you are going to get guy's on here with their undies in a bundle. They are trying to figure out what kind of power their new $13,000 snowmobile is making.
one way to see the real difference would be to take a stock 2019 and a stock 2020 both out of break-in mode and dyno them back to back on the same day. that's what I'd like to see, and I believe if there are improvements it would show on the graph.

It'd be cool if they had a motor with similar character of the Suzuki 500. They should ditch 600's and 800's. A 500, 700, 900 are three different sleds and would be more interesting than 600s and 800s
oh come on, no one in their right mind wants a new 500 and based on everything preached on HCS if you are riding anything less than an 800 you're riding a kid/women's sled. You must be new here?

best thing that could happen to Catextron from my pov would be to release an updated 2 stroke chassis that weighs less than the procross, handles like a scalpel, rides great and gets consumers truly excited and walking back into Cat dealers.

how did the Procross gain weight from the SnoPro chassis it was derived from? simple, they wanted to stuff 4-strokes into it. Poo's chassis are the lightest, because they aren't dealing with 4S weight. that's my take on it.

but hey, we changed the spindles!

You don't own a procross or Arctic Cat and it's easy to see what you're trying to do. Trying to troll, don't kid yourself. You're not helping any owners or this site with your crap in here.

I really don't know why Badger cares how much power any of them make? He wont go over 60 when you ride with him out on the trails and he buys an 850? Seems like a 500 fan or a hopped up zr 200 would be more his speed!
