How much louder is this system than the stock one? My only concern is the noise.

It's louder. At first it isn't too bad but as the can ages, it gets a little annoying. I had a pipe and can on my '06 600 RMK. SLP has made improvements in noise and durability of the can since '06 but the performance increase form the can has diminished a bit, IMHO.

I've run the SLP exhaust on my last two 600 HO's and they never got louder at all. These cans are not glass packed so they cannot burn out, they use baffels so the noise leve should not change. Was your a 2000 era or was it the newer 2007 era.

Storm,

Did you find the slp is much louder than the stock one?? I ride vermont quite a bit and they are clamping down on noise
up there and i dont want to get nailed. Would it be best to just get a used stock pipe off of ebay? I have the stock can and
the slp can.

I bought Stormtroopers SLP Pipe and Can, its barely louder than stock. I am selling my fusion and can sell it and the clutch setup to you too.

Most don't realize there is something other than stock on my sled.
