Default Putting an 07 IQ600 skid in an 06 Fusion 600

From what I see on the parts pages this is an exact replacement. Am I missing anything? Both rails are cracked on my new to me Fusion. I plan on calling the local sled salvage shop tomorrow, but found a part out sled on Craigslist. I'm sure buying rails alone will be cheaper, but the whole skid sounds a lot faster and much less frustrating.

Thanks in advance,
E

Yes. Should be the same.

Yes. It will work. Put one in my Fusion last year. I had a cracked rail also.

Hi there, I was wondering if this is true for the 06 fusion Dragon 600? I am looking to put a skid from an 07 into the 06. also wondered if the seats were interchangeable? any help with this would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Heck, the guy I have do my shocks has a 97 Xc 700 with an IQ skid in it, and some badass shocks!. Jack Struthers ported with kehin carbs he does internal fuel passage mods, that cures the notorious stumble those carbs were known for. Sled is really cool. Mint condition, and runs strong.

Shocks on Dragon are Walker Evans...same length as stock. Everything else should be the same.

Seat swap should work. However, the 07 may have a slightly different shaped tank since the 06 filler neck was prone to crack and was recalled. I would think the seat would work but may not be an exact fit and finish where it meets the tank.
