Default ‘01 800 Torque rod need? Not torque arm.

Is this a necessary part, 3021081 torque rod, to use if installing a ninja plumber engine torque arm. I would need a new one on my 2001 xcr 800 if so. I can’t imagine I need this anymore. The stock one is torn and broke.

I've always used both. Just snug it up tight once you are sure clutches are close to parallel.
