Default 2011 XC/SX Handlebar difference?

What changed in 2011 that the XC model has a different handlebar? If you look it up it as described as 'Handlebar, Heavy Duty - Assembly (inc. [+]
1705-042 & 1705-155'
and is green.
https://www.babbittsonline.com/oempa...lebar-assembly

The 500 has different bars 1705-092, curious what the actual difference in the bars might be if any other than color. Riser block is/are the same part # - thicker wall tubing?

The original part # was 0705-978 and fit (but was replaced by the new #'s)

1705-155 is more than likely just a thicker tube. The 500 and 600 bars were different due to the throttle block being an efi sled and the aluminum throttle block of the carb 600. They likely are the part number of the bar assembly and not the actual bar itself.

well, here's a 1705-042 bar with just grips
https://www.countrycat.com/arctic-ca...ks-sp-assy-grn

the way they are described in the fiche as heavy duty makes me want to believe they are a thicker wall tubing. highly doubt I'd ever bend or break the stock bars, but I do like the look of the green bars.

google found it

Put a set of fly racebend bars on it. They are thicker than the stock ones and the bend is better than stock. Cheap upgrade
