Default Fett Brothers Bumper SnoPro 500

Does anybody know if they still make/sell a front bumper for a 2010 Sno Pro 500? I see they used to and I like theirs better than the AC Sport Bumper...more room between the Bumper and nose of sled.

I think it's still in the catalog. Only one way to know and that is calling them.

Good idea...I looked at their catalog online and didn't see it so phone call it is. It looks like a good quality piece.

Nope. Seem to remember a thread somewhere here or on Arctic Chat where a person shimmed the bumper with washers enough to get your hands in it. Kind've dumb of Cat not to make it so you can pick up the sled with it.

Yeah I don't get that either and I got an email back from Fett Brothers and they no longer make them...not enough demand to justify a run.

I guess my catalog I was looking at was outdated, I looked at the one they just sent out and it was gone, the whole cat section was condensed way down. Could always keep an eye out for used one if it's not a hurry.

Default bumper

yup. i tried to order one from fett a year and a half ago and was told no sir, sold out and no plans for another run. i did end up buying the cat bumper and did not like the fact that there was no room to slip your fingers in between the airbox and bumper so it could used as a grab handle. i found a couple of aluminum spacers at work that were the same diameter as the bumper and either 9/16" or 5/8" tall. painted them black to match the tab on the chassis and they look stock. you will need to buy longer bolts as well. found mine at hardware store for a buck or two. i did drill 2 new holes in the bottom bracket that screws to the bottom of the airbox as far back as i could. this allows just enough room to squeeze your fingers in to use as grab handle. only downside is cat bumper seems to be made of tinfoil, very light. i have heard they do not take a hit very well and i believe it. i figure its better than nothing and doubles as a grab handle so wth. i can grab a pic or two if anyone wants to see set up.
