I purchased an 09 leftover gade. Love the sled so far. I had been riding an 07 500ss GSX. This sled is heavier, but does great. I have put on the 6.9 pilot skis and 8" carbides in the center. I put the stock 4" on the outer. On rough trails and smooth trails seems to handle great. I was very dissapointed at gas mileage on the first tank. 11.5. So I did some gear changes and went to the 43 tooth bottom gear. Changed the clutch spring to the 130-390 and changed the clutch weights. The last fillup showed 15.6 mpg. and it keeps getting better. I now have 1200 miles on the sled. I am very happy with it and would not go back to the rev. I am 6' tall and the extra leg room and the ride are perfect for me.

I am on my second 1200, purchased the 09 1200 gade last year, put just a little under 7k miles on that sled last year. Absolutely love it, handling, ride, smooth power and never changed the Belt.

The only issue I had last year was the chain case coming out of gear under load. That eventually was worked out by BRP but was a little frustrating early on.

I had the sled serviced this fall and had the belt changed just because I thought I should. Liked that sled so well and my wife did too, she had a 08 600 renegade, that I purchased another 09 1200 holdover. Have put on another 1800 miles on these sleds this year. No Problems.

I had come from having a Yami Warrier, and 2 yami attaks, nice sleds but would not go back. The handling and ride of the BRP make up for the awesome genesis 4 stroke. And I am not taking anything away from the BRP 3 cyl 1200. Very nice engine.

I've got a '09 shorty, 1200 miles and no problems, well one, darn thumb warmer is too hot on low.
Best all day sled I've ever had.
I've test rode the Yamama's the last few years, ski's and suspension suck. Great motor though.
I refer to my sled as the Sled Di Ville, a caddy with a smooth quiet sneaky big block.

I am not worried about the air suspension it is about the same as the ones ski doo has been using on grand touring sleds for years, and thy hold up very good.

Chaincase coming out of gear under load???
Does that feel like the belt slippling "all of a sudden" at full throttle?
This happened to me on the lke yesterday. Thought I blew the belt. Idled down, then sped up with no problem???
Let me know

thx
