Default can the 1200 be put om its side..?

.. for more than a couple minutes, before the oil finds its ways to all the wrong places?

doing some skid maintenance, and used to my 2 strokes. But leery of doing the same with the 4 strokes, even if the 1200 mill is dry sump..

Ditto.

Important also if you lay it over while riding.

I have an electric winch in my garage that I use if I am working on suspension or skis etc.
