Default Changing the slides on a XTX.

I keep my sled up north and a bud changed the slides for me. He said it was a royal pain because of the tipped up rails. What are the tricks? DuPonts went back on,so I should be good for a while.

I use WD-40 soak prior to removal, use more to clean then more sprayed into the slides and rails. Go slow and make sure the leading edge doesn't start to work its way off. One person tapping it on and one watching the leading edge maybe holding in place with pliers on the curves.
