Default 2009 MXZ Renegade Ski Pressure Issue

Buddy has a 2009 MXZ Renegade 600 with a 144/146"? conversion and the sled seems to have far too much ski pressure making it hard to turn. It does not push, it grabs hard and has to be muscled. The torsions are set on medium, I adjusted the FTS spring to the highest setting and the ski springs at the lowest pressure. Still bites hard. It came with a set of C&A XCS which seemed rather aggressive, I had a spare set of Curve's and we put them on which made it a little better but it's still harder to turn than it should be imo. Part of me wonders if the FTS spring is just sacked out as the sled has a nose down rake. The conversion was supposedly a full skid/track and I don't know more than that as the sled came from out west. So, anyone here ran into this on a Renegade?

Let the limiter strap out as much as possible.
