I see what they are doing. They have the waste gate pretty wide open at low alt so the turbo is bearly doing anything and then close it as it gets to higher alt. Once someone hacks the ecu and gets control of the gate they can boost thing to moon until they run out of fuel system or turbo efficiency.

Maybe the not-so-far off is ecoboosted sleds with 400cc 2 lunger and baby twins stacked on it. Get rid of the port stage advance if not needed to offset cost of snails and make em small enough to light just off idle.
Might even be the way to fight off the can crowd. Turbos will quiet her down.

they cant even figure out closed loop fueling, nevermind ecoboost type systems

first one I know of was the aerocharger, but there have been automotive turbos with self contained oiling for a couple years
