Just found out my buddies 18 Assault 800 with blew a upper a arm ball joint and wiped out a shock trail riding 2 days ago, that means 2 broken front shocks, one broken rear shock and a broken arm in the skid in about 3000 miles. So seems like Cats beating Polaris not only in the 800/850 class but in chassis durability too.

T-Flip, it wasn't only the Turbos that whipped on everything,, just look back at the Shootout results, and the results still have not changed-- it was the CAT powered 800 (not a Yami) that smacked the Poo 850. Go and read it the results for yourself, listed in Post #1.

if you can get them 121 indy 800's with 1" tracks to hook up they move for sure...ask me how I know. too bad they didn't sell worth a crap and are no longer offered. I guess the market doesn't want a basic no frills sled.

The Cat beat the 850 in ET. The 850 beat the Cat in MPH. Since the Shootout lists both stats that means in the end they each had one win. Tie goes to the 850 cause it's a nicer looking sled

For what it’s worth I raced one on my 19 zr8000 rr 137” on lake Gogebic and lost both times. Stock vs stock. It also beat my buddies 19 126” ZR 8000 rr with exterminator package. It’s a nice sled but I like the feel of the cat better. He said the cat felt wide but turned better.
