my thought on the 850 patriot. the whole fucking motor is junk. 18 miles on mine and the coating is stuck in the rings, it's in the crank, etc. pistons are complete garbage. Kelsey had one of these apart and told me the motor was junk, now Indy Dan says it is.

The big storm that was forecast to hit our area this past Tuesday, actually lived up to its billing .... for the most part. They were calling for areas getting up to 12" and we WERE in the heart of that forecast. We ended up with about 4"-5" ... and the larger amounts fell to our north, up by the Twin Cities. As I type this, your "Snowpocalypse" sure seems to be in the works further to our north:

.WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST SUNDAY... * WHAT...HEAVY MIXED PRECIPITATION. ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 12 TO 19 INCHES, EXCEPT 15 TO 24 INCHES FOR NORTHERN DOUGLAS AND BAYFIELD COUNTIES AND ICE ACCUMULATIONS OF A LIGHT GLAZE. WINDS GUSTING AS HIGH AS 35 MPH. * WHERE...SAWYER, PRICE, IRON, DOUGLAS, BAYFIELD AND ASHLAND COUNTIES. THIS INCLUDES THE TRIBAL LANDS OF THE RED CLIFF BAND AND THE BAD RIVER RESERVATION. * WHEN...UNTIL NOON CST SUNDAY. * IMPACTS...TRAVEL COULD BE VERY DIFFICULT TO IMPOSSIBLE. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... IF YOU MUST TRAVEL, KEEP AN EXTRA FLASHLIGHT, FOOD, AND WATER IN YOUR VEHICLE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY. THE LATEST ROAD CONDITIONS CAN BE OBTAINED BY CALLING 5 1 1. ROAD CONDITIONS CAN ALSO BE FOUND AT 511MN.ORG FOR MINNESOTA OR 511WI.GOV FOR WISCONSIN. &&

More Information
...HISTORIC WINTER STORM IMPACTS THROUGH SUNDAY... .A SLOW-MOVING WINTER STORM WILL BRING HEAVY SNOW AND HIGH WINDS TO THE REGION THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON. THIS COULD BE A TOP 10 TWO DAY SNOWFALL EVENT FOR MUCH OF THE REGION.

I have noticed the last couple of years that the weather people are way over dramatizing the weather. I think they do this to make themselves feel important and get us to watch them. Here in Minnesota they are wrong 90% of the time and the other 10% is a lucky guess.

In answer to your question of what's up in our part of the midwest. Here in Minneapolis we started the day with snow which turned to sleet. Then turned light rain and sleet (big mess). Now it is snowing and the weather guesser just said that we should get several inches. Some parts of the state have had snow all day with snow for most of the state into tomorrow.
