my thought on the 850 patriot. the whole fucking motor is junk. 18 miles on mine and the coating is stuck in the rings, it's in the crank, etc. pistons are complete garbage. Kelsey had one of these apart and told me the motor was junk, now Indy Dan says it is.

I think Arctic Cat are doing very well with this release.
There is a big gap between the 200cc kids sleds/kids for youth, to the 550-600cc class sleds, which cost nearly as much as a new 800.
The 8-15 age group give or take.
The new Blast looks great, and the new RIOTS have me very seriously thinking about snochecking one, although I've fallen in love with the all yellow Doo XRS 850.
Hoping to hear more as time goes on, thanks for posting Krom.
I still believe they are working on a bigger motor, its just not ready yet.

Good on Cat for trying to grow the market.
I know if I was a young guy or gal I would be bugging my folks to get me one.
Back in the day I dreamed about my dad picking me up a John Deere Spitfire.
We need to get the next generation involved with the sport to have it survive.
My girls moved from 250 Bravos to ZR 500 and now are riding 800's.
There was definitively a hole in the market for this type of sled, I hope the gamble pays Cat dividends back, however the price seams a little steep.

Good competition for the EVO out of the Polaris camp. Gotta start somewhere with the next generation of sledders, but it's hard to argue with @bee1971 .... will the kiddos put down their phones and forego their gaming time to go outdoors sledding?

What age are these supposed to be for ? I’m having trouble grasping the size and target market.

I am sure they mention the dimensions somewhere but I was wondering that as well...exactly how big are these things?
