Unplanted isn't at all how I'd describe fun. Responsive in any direction is. Sadly the IQR even an older one is better at this than the new Indy XC, Assault, Rush or ProCross. A 2021 IQRR IMO would be great. No consumer nonsense, just put the cross country setup in it and go.

The XC sled is on the same chassis as consumer sled, and has been since 2012.

They bolt on some different parts, like heavier duty shocks, and suspension components, different secondary, and slipper gears in the chain case, but the chassis, and suspension geometry is the same as the consumer.
This isn't the first year that the RXC and 8000 RR use the same part number chassis

my thought on the 850 patriot. the whole fucking motor is junk. 18 miles on mine and the coating is stuck in the rings, it's in the crank, etc. pistons are complete garbage. Kelsey had one of these apart and told me the motor was junk, now Indy Dan says it is.

Riders all want/expect something different for their sleds. Most..and I do mean MOST..want a nice compliant ride with some zip for the straights and plenty of unplanted "fun factor" or some simile there of. Doo and Poo have done this much better than Cat over the years.
well, the XCR wasn't exactly as 'race' (or fat guy) ready as Poo initially declared it was and their customers expected.

wonder how many they'd have sold if it was only offered in a 600 with race suspension? (smart of them to offer all their mills though)

No, it was not. It was similar to the XRS and RR in their earlier days. I’m pretty sure I remember reading about race teams still having to beef them up for the track.

See, to me, “responsive in any direction” means unplanted. The IQR, IMO is still the best sled Poo has ever produced. Probably one of the best sleds ever. But, unlike the Cat race chassis that was “built down” for consumers, the IQR was its own theme park.

factory 600 - 3 sleds, really?

no clue who these folks are or what they were on, but oval racing seems to be dying quickly based on what I saw for spectators on their cam today.

Mira enduro had twenty plus entries in the pro class https://www.race-monitor.com/Results/Race/92202
Doubtful that many will run factory 600 since they didn't get paid last year.

How old is this guy? Pretty sure I saw him on a sno-x track like 20 years ago. Good to see the old guys can still compete. Reminds me of captain Kirk.

Zach broke and is out of the race on the second lap. David Brown and AC are out front.

3 races in a row Arctic Cats top guy breaks down. Justin Tate in pro open (Polaris) had fastest time for today.

It looks like Polaris out front today in Pro 600 with 4 of the top five on Polaris, and the top 3 Semi Pro on Polaris.
