Correct, that was the current model of financial support.
I would say they will still sponsor 50-100 racers give or take, and say what you want about its age, since the ProCross still competes so well, it should still be very competitive in USXC and ISOC for another year or so.
But who cares about that right now, quite honestly. They need to focus on quality, stability and R&D.
Get the big CTEC purring (the little CTEC 600 is one of the best 600's on the market, even Braaap redid their 600 for 19/20, calling it the 600R) and within the next 12 months release a new sled, the RIOT will hold them over till then.

Those two things should be their #1 focus and we all know they are hard at work tinkering with the 800 CTEC, good to know a new design has been in the works too. The next 24 months for Arctic Cat is going to decide the future of the company. I might even snocheck one if it has a new chassis.
We all get to wait and see.

Cant argue with that.
shes a shit show in service bud.

No worries. If the same magazine writes a good article about Arctic Cat it will be the bible of all magazines then.

Who cares what the CTEC 800 Gen 1 and 2 was rated at, what the preliminary dyno's were, what they did or didn't do, what they said it might be, what got updated, ext. That's all water under the bridge. The only thing I've seen by cat is the '165HP Class HP' claim.
All that matters now is how the 2020's dyno/perform when fully broken in and the future updates Cat will make to the design. It took Polaris 3-4 revisions to get the Liberty 800 to make 155HP-160HP and that just happened in 2015. Not knocking Polaris at all for their struggles it was no easy task.

The Polaris ECU comes preprogrammed with a ‘break-in mode’ delivering extra oil and fuel keeping pistons/rings well-lubed and cool, this will last you around 150 miles or so. You’ll gain a few more RPMs after break-in. When amsnow dynoed the Liberty 800 they said 'The new piston/chrome ring package needed lots of break-in time to seal properly".
I am sure Cat have something similar with their CTEC.

Their [Arctic Cat] are not too far from their goal right now.
Lets wait and see how these GEN-II's do, their real numbers after proper break-in and how well they respond to mods.
Cat are just getting started with this motor and I believe they can make it purr just like their 600 version.
