I didn't think that was possible. Looks great!

looks good Z. we usually use stuff actually labeled as "dye", but it's likely the same thing. never had issues with it coming off either

Well, I agree but, thatís the only way to see fuel levels. Sure, Iíve thought of ways to do it but painting isnít one. Thatís in an area that is going to take a log of friction with shifting around and if it starts to scratch, flake and peel on that rough pvc tank, now Iíve got a mess thatís hard to clean up. Making a cover is the best bet. But....itís a racer. Itís function over finish for sure. Some things just have to be sacrificed.

Iíve used the dye for car leather too. Mostly used the dupli-color vinyl paint for seats. First time Iíve used the rustoleum product but, Iím pretty sure they are all the same. It all holds up like it came from the factory. All about a good prep!

I bought a sled that had a home made seat cover on it.(white)
Bought a can of that exact paint and sprayed away. A couple years later I had to do it again but it held up real good IMO

The seat on my 77 Kawasaki LTD 1000 needs to be refreshed. Years ago there used to be a product named Mar Hyde for upholstery . It was excellent, can't find it now. Z have you used the stuff in your post on seats that see hot summer sun?

No. The only thing Iíve done that ďsees sunĒ is leather seats. I used a leather dye for that. This is the first time Iíve used this product. Iíve used the duplicate-color before with excellent results. Never had to re-apply.

I could never figure out the silver and green. The silver hood did look good with the blue plastics though.
