Default F8 trunk delete sorry

So I wana delete the truck on my 09 f8, I've seen a bunch of pictures and a few topics on here, I've even messaged a guy who used to sell them... I'm trying to figure out what you guys used when you deleted them yourself. I have access to a metal shop and can have whatever meant bend a built so I was hopping someone had some insite. Please and thank you and if no one responds then I guess I should just buy a new sled lol 🤠🤠🤠

So after ~7 years of owning my F1000, I'm actually in the process of deleting the trunk as we speak (...my buddy did the conversion to his 5 or 6 years ago ... wish I'd jumped on-board back then).

Anyway, I hope to have the piece made up early next week (local metal shop is just finalizing the design based on my measurements and should have it done in a few days).

My buddy cut and bent in the vertical pieces at the back of the running boards, but I don't want to sacrifice the strength/structure there, so I'm leaving them in place. May not be as aesthetically pleasing, but I don't care. The twin-spar isn't a beauty queen anyway. It's function over fashion for me.

For the tail flap, I've bought one from a 2010/2011 F8, which has the incorporated taillight (...after Arctic Cat built them from the factory how they should have been from day one!)

I'll post up pics next week when I've got the piece made.

Finally got the piece of metal made up to cover the tunnel. Now just need to get it powder coated (...and the bumper too, obviously!)

Very nice! Wish you were close by, I'd pay a visit to that shop.

I will do this mod this summer to our '07. Will give some decent storage space with a nice bag back there.

This is my 2008 F8 SnoPro that I did back in the day. The shop that builds/bends the Arctic Cat tunnels and other part since 1968 is just a few miles from me. I had them bend the rear extension for mine along with 10 extra's I had them make and sold on here.

Sorry fellas, almost a month later (xmas / holidays etc. got in the way) ..... but finally got 'er all finished!

A couple minor tweaks I would make next time 'round, and may not be to everyone's liking, but overall, I'm happy with the outcome. Now just waiting on the trunk bag to arrive, and I'll be all set!
