Default Off Season Storage for IQR with a tank full of Premix

I haven't owned a premix sled since my Rupp back in the day so curious about storage...should I drain the tank or just do what I usually do which is to fire it up every few weeks...thanks in advance!

You should just sell that IQr and buy mine.

Get the ethanol out of it...no way do you want to store it in the sled.

^^^ agree with above statement regarding removing the ethanol and I would also drain the carbs.

I have thought about it....love your sled!
I'll see what happens over the Summer but if I move mine I will definitely be in touch.

I remove all gas from the tank. and shut the gas off and run it till she dies. With an IQR the fuel shut off should be your friend. Whether you use it or not could cost you an engine. The new gas eats orings in the float assys and at any time it could fill your case up with fuel/oil. Try and start and bam, bent or broken rod. People use the shut offs!!!!

also get the fuel out if you have a clear tank. Unless you like yellow tanks.

Don't forget spun crank. That is what happened to mine. Gave me an excuse to make it fresh, but was of course in prime snow when it happened. Since that time, I replace those little rings every fall.

I've NEVER run ethanol in it either.
