Default Iqrr 660 dog.

Bought a iqrr last year with the BMP 660 KIT AND pipe mod done to it, the owner said the clutching needed to be dialed in. I ran it last winter what a pos, hit the gas and it fell on its face, bottom end is a joke, but on a long straight a way omg hold on it will rip your arms off.
So on that note anyone have a 660 kit in theres with a good trail set up, not (race) i would love to hear about it and how to fix this turd. THANKX.

What motor h.o.? which was stock in the RR? Stock 121 skid? Gearing? What's in the clutches? Both of them. Sounds more like a jetting issue? But could be a gearing clutching problem? All the 660 we have had had great low end pull. Based off the H.O. motor.

Assuming its tuned well, could be the port work done on the cylinders itself .Guy here has an 06 fusion 660 that was done by carls...takes down stock 800's all the time. That sled is an animal. Really depends on the guy porting the cylinders when it comes to the 660's best performance...worked with a guy on one that came for another shop a long time back that was a pooch...looked like whoever ported it, was their first big job. After our engine guy redid the porting best as possible it was a different sled.

This was a stock 2008 iqrr, 121 skid stock. the porting was done by BMP. THE SLED RIPS after you get to around 40 mph then takes offlike a rocket. I looked at the primary clutch and has a blue spring in it, should i clutch and gear this like a xc 700? i was hoping someone had a 660 and could use there set up for a base line on where to go. The sled was sent to BMP dealer and all work and pipe mod done there.

My Carls 660 is in a Gen 2 and oo motor. Almound 140-330 10-64 weights if that helps at all.
