You'll eventually get used to the looks no matter what you buy. I'd probably go with the 12.5 now that they are available. For XC racing, generally the more gas you can carry the better. Plus you have the option of running less fuel if that is an advantage that day for whatever reason.

I agree though, the 12.5 looks kind of strange.

I really like the set up you have tooth guy, I would like to have that gas can setup with maybe a 10.5 gallon tank. Where did you get that linq system and how hard is it to get it to fit on the back of the iqr. I have a heat exchanger on mine I wonder would that matter?

That's rack looks like hell. Why would anyone do anything other then Mountain Addictions rack system. When you don't want to haul 3.3 gallon can or hard side bag this is what your left with... Cheap and easy

They both look fine in my opinion. But chances are neither one will fit on a 121 right?

Here is a pic of a setup. I have a small tunnel extension but this will work with a stock 121" tunnel.

Thanks everyone for the ideas and pictures. Hopefully I'll figure something out before the snow falls. Still have some time yet. I have a really dumb question. I haven't done this before so I'm just wondering, would somebody extend their tunnel and not the track itself? Like would it be normal if say I bought a 136 extension but left the track 121? I know I see your pictures but I can't tell.

No I would not advise you to have a tunnel extension/tunnel designed larger than the track.
