New or used mounts can be made unbreakable, simple cut off studs, drill or bore the correct size hole through the whole mount per your bolt O.D. size needed, fabricate a steel or bronze bushing with correct inside diameter hole size, press into mount, now use a through bolt and lock nut of your choice.

Very nice. Going to have to give this a try. I'll have to get some bushing stock.

I always wondered how to make those front mounts better on my 2000 XCR 800.

Making bushings now for the "1 piece engine plates" to be used with the 2 part rubber "mushroom" type mounts as used on the Aggressive Chassis and others., factory bushings that come with the rubber mounts are 5/8" O.D. & 7/16" I.D. and need to be 3/8" I.D. for a tight bolt fit.
