Ok. Guess that would be a "no'! Came from someone who lives in Thief River Falls. Typical. I figured when Textron bought them it was only for side x side stuff and would dump the sleds. As THEY were in sleds before and got out. Remember TXs? Yamaha saved them buy buying their chassis. So would make sense for them to buy the sleds, use their development from there and dump anything else that's left. Ok. I'd HOPED it wasn't true.

Yamaha sells WAAAAY too many other motorized products to get out of the sleds COMPLETELY. They have too much to lose because customers are brand loyal. Cat, However has been week for years. Yamaha buying chassis saved them, then Textron money. So SEEMS only a matter of time. I don't want to see any of them gone. Not good for the future of our hobby but....!

You guys have two options .... I can either move this thread to the GDF where there's no worries about hurting someone's feelings, or the posts that have been removed will stay removed since this isn't the GDF. For now ... posts are removed.

Doh. Should rename this one to "Snowmobile Forum" any time the word General is added the shitstorm starts.

I'm sorry! Thought that's what I was in. Not that familiar with the "General" forums and find it hard to figure out where it's supposed to be. USUALLY only post in the forum related to my current ride.

Wait. This is "General Snowmobile Forum". This IS a general snowmobile DISCUSSION. What's the problem? General "GENERAL" isn't worth reading! I don't GET it.

The general discussion forum is a free for all bash zone. This is not that forum. Wasn't your fault but some of the rest of us...

You didn't do anything wrong - and I would agree with you in starting the thread in here. The General Discussion Forum is basically a free-for-all with next to nothing for rules so people can bash away (typically it's a Cat vs. Polaris debacle). People will start snowmobile threads in there just to get a pissing contest going for entertainment purposes ... not that there's anything wrong with that. But serious snowmobile topics do belong in here, so you're just fine

I've done it myself, and then realize it's not the GDF so I delete whatever I may have posted. It's all good - as long as people understand this ain't the place to
