Default Arctiva gear reviews

Looking to update my suit for the upcoming season. I currently have an FXR suit that's pushing 15 yrs old. I have had no issues with it, just looking to upgrade.

After doing a quick internet search I came across Arctiva. Prices seem real competitive (compared to klim or fxr) but how is the quality, fit and warmth? The pivot2 is the model that interests me. Other issue is there is no local Canadian dealer so it'll be mail order for me. Not a huge deal, but would rather see it for myself.

Any info appreciated

the arctiva gear we own has been tough and warm but the zippers are a pain in the rear,, my jacket is a nightmare sometimes to get off fighting the stupid zipper, , hope they have updated the zippers but I have been slowly replacing my gear with klim and I have to say way better stuff!! A little costly but worth the reach.

I have 2 jackets, one insulated and one shell, bibs, and gloves.

Jackets and bibs have been great. NO zipper problems. They have been wearing well. Fit was good.

Gloves were good for one season, then some of the seams came loose inside and the layers of lining began to separate.

I have since moved on to Motorfist gear and its fantastic, but not cheap. Arctiva was very good bang for the buck.

My Arctiva gear has been good, but I have had an issue with getting a wet butt. Rode in the rain and got soaked. Arctiva was good with warranty on the gear. Replaced my bibs when they leaked through. I just went FXR with the F.A.S.T. system. I look for last years “models” when buying to save a few bucks.

Good reviews fella's. My thing is you can by a whole Arctiva suit for the same price as a fxr/klim jacket.

I have no issue buying last yrs model but unfortunately I'm away the weekend of the Toronto show (where all the deals are) so either way I'll probably by on line.

Not sure what you’re looking to spend or pricing on the Arctiva but I did my fxr gear (bibs and jacket) online and paid $392 usd with free shipping.

Thats a decent buy. Care to share where you bought from. I'd probably be 450cdn for the Arctiva suit I'm looking at. (Pretty sure its this yrs model though).

Klim is worth every penny, and then some.

I've gotten great deals on leftover Klim gear at CountryCat.
Take a peek https://www.countrycat.com/klim?cat=3951%2C4088
