io1

Designed by accountants with leftover parts they can't sell.

There's already three fairly amusing threads on this so I'll stop here.

550 CARB engine is perfect for lower maintenance.Lets face facts...every brands sled is less reliable now than they were 15 years ago when they were simple carbed engines that used a bunch of oil and fuel and had bodywork that kept underhood temps cooler for the electronics.Anybody that doesnt realize that is just kidding themselves.

Looks like they combined old school mechanical with new school styling.
I know if I were a kid starting out this would be a dream sled for me over the other starter sleds that are offered. Getting dad to buy me one would be a different story though. ha ha....

Reminds me of when i got 88 classic anniversary edition. 400cc of pure death ,and when i got stuck with my baloney skin track, its light enough to military press back onto the trail

My boys started out on a full size Indy Sport 340 when they were around 9. I didn't see the need to waste money on a kids sled. I don't get enough consistent snow at home and they really need to be 12 to ride in Michigan (if you are on a trail that runs along a road or need to take a road to get to the trail). My boys started riding quads at the age of 5 though. They got way more use out the quads than if I would have bought them a kids sled. My oldest boy was tearing up the farm on his Blaster when he was 11.

Got 10 years out of our last fan cooled sleds and never went into the motors. On a good year we get 12 weeks of winter. Sleds have out grown the wife to the point she gets one foot on the running board at a time and rides on the tank. She ordered a Evo Tuesday with the clutch and computer. Its raining today and we lost most of our snow so what is left will be ice and liquids aint so good on ice, fans just keep going as long as the hyfax stays cool.
Best part is it aint 13-15k and all Indy parts bolt on, like the windshield she wants.
