Going to look at one for Granddaughter today, She is 8yrs old. Saw the specs on it. Do any of those come w/reverse as it apparently is a 450 lb sled. Any other options out there. For a kid, kinda has to be a Cat as all 11 sleds in family are Cats.

I can tell you they are pretty tough sleds. A coworker owns two of them for his kids and one of them has been completely pounded on by the boy. One of his has electric start and I think reverse.

If it's clean buy it. Reverse could be added. E start would be pricey. If those items are priority, I would look for any 340/370/440 machine that already has them installed, as parts ......would cost as much as the machine.

Excellent sleds for beginners. Back in 2012 I was lucky enough to find a brand new 2007 still in the crate at a dealer near me. With electric start it was $3800. My daughter rode it for a few years, mostly around the property as she never did get interested in trail riding.

Sold it two years ago for $3500. Here is a photo of her on it at 12 years of age. Great sled, zero problems. Top speed with me on it was in the 40's.

Well got it bought. 2005 with 2400 miles. Pretty clean green machine. Should be all she needs for a couple years. Thanks for your input.

I zipped around on one a friend of mine had for his daughter for a bit a few years ago, it was fun. I think he geared it a little higher, which helped mileage and made it more easy to keep up with them on the bigger machines, it wasn't so tapped out.

Wow 65/70 didn't think they would scoot like that. We Taped a Throttle block to the flipper so she will do about 20/25 at the moment. Big Day that little girl will never forget !

My 8 year old outgrew the 120, too slow even with upgrade to 15 mph, so I got him the 370. I didn't bother taping the throttle. He caught on pretty quick and was holding it to the bars on the lake in short order. Outgrew the 370 by 11 and had him on a 99 ZR700 to help keep up on the lakes.

Goes 65 max on the speedo maybe 55 actual. Loud for a small engine but the muffler is small. They should have used the 570 muffler.
