Default New to Snowmobiling got a 99 ZR 600 with a bad primary clutch

Hello I need some help, I bought a (thought) pretty nice ZR 600 EFI with about 2700 miles on it. I found on inspection that the primary clutch sheave is cracked pretty good too. What are my options for fixing this? I have read a few posts on replacing it with a 6 post but it's literally have the price of the sled. 550.00. Is there anything else can do and what weights will I need to get.

If you have a cracked clutch sheave, replacement is the option. Sure somebody on here has a clean, used clutch to sell you reasonable.

Welcome to the forum. I think you should be able to find a new clutch for much less than $550. (Seems like $325-350 i hear more often) but you can start a new thread here and title it, "ZR clutch wanted" ....somebody will have one. I wouldn't trust a used one off ebay unless it was a good seller, but guys here....won't point you wrong.

All of the Zr/Zl/ZRT sleds of that era used the same clutch, unfortunately....they are all old these days.
