Welcome to the forum. The stock jetting chart won't apply to psi pipes. You want to stay on the side of running rich to be safe and avoid hurting anything. Does it run Good for 3-4 minutes every time? If it does, then it's not the jetting or carbs, because it'swouldn't run good at all if it was. Could be a coil, stator, etc. ($tuff). The carbs are Correct for a 700 though right? And you know what your peak rpms should be? Is it even close on rpm? I ask as I've seen guys running 1000 rpm "off", and it's hard to tune like that.

That jet chart would be for flatslide carbs.
I have a 99 ZR 700 with flatslide carbs, updated CDI and 320 main at 1000' and pretty cold. Stock single pipe.

I have a 1991 700 with roundslide carbs, ZR cylinders and 390 mains. Stock twin pipes. Stock mains were 420.

I am not sure about your PSI pipes but I would think you should be around 390+ mains with your roundslides.

Yes with 340 in it this thing would be toast, IMHO.

The above posts are correct you are running it way too lean ... your loss of power on top end is it running out of fuel .(( been here done that)) .. you are going to burn it down ... your fouling plugs and running rich on the low end has nothing to do with your main jets.. I would start with your choke cable adjustments... needle n float .. then pilot jets and air screw adjustments ...

I have a 94 ZR 700 and with 410 mains, and the needle clip in the 2 position, the plugs have a nice coffee with cream color at 0-30 F.

Way back when I tossed the 420s on my 95 700zr for 380s, ran it down to -20.
