Talking Skid swap

So I have a 01 zr 800. Looking to put a full skid out of a 01 mountain cat . Will it bolt right in? Do I need to drill any holes or move any suspension around for the stock holes to line up? Don’t wanna put the extension on . I’m getting the 136 skid and track for free from a buddy who going back to stock .

It'll fit. Front holes are the same, rear holes you may need to drill but I think there is a dimple or something already there for you to follow. Use to be pretty common. You won't have any trouble once you see it.
