Default 2000 600 efi only 15 psi at idle

What should fuel pressure be at idle, also system should hold pressure after engine is off correct??
Thank you

Popped return line off whil running and nothing coming out. Guessing due to only 15 psi at idle.
When reved higher, psi stays the same

Over 30 anyway. They don't really hold much pressure after shut off, only for a minute or two.

Yeah this drops as soon as key is turned off, also should add that when I had the pump partially out of the tank while idling, fuel was spraying out just below the outlet barb. It wasn't the line going out of the pump but just below it.

no way is it worth that, IMO, new fuel pump $500, new clutch around the same
(dealers prices) that sled has not been maintained just by looking at the rust and
corrosion on the bar clamp and steering support.

def not worth it to the person who would actually pay retail for a new pump and primary.

First sled salvage yard I called today had a good used pump and a decent 9 post

Both for $150
$650 for a running rusted sled, not bad.
$650 for a beater on the farm sold
$650 for a sweet local bar sled def sold
Etc......
