Default well, shes back together.what ya guys think?

bitta grunting this evening but the rebuilt rear is back in.alls left to do is some tweaking with suspension settings and set the deflection /clutch alignment and a therough cleaning/detailing this bitch is ready for the trails.

been a fun project over the summer.gonna put some fuel in tomorrow and fire her up.

digging the red scheme over the grey and black that was on her when I got her.the hd springs and revalved shocks are going to be a nice combo with the new position.

project back up complete..sort of ...rest is easy.

now the tps sensor and my reed stuffers get here and ill get that iq back together.temps dropping pretty rapidly already for this early.great sign. cheers guys.

so in summary\

cleaned and rejetted the carbs to 400s (it had 380 mains, wtf)

cleaned the primary and secondary clutches, replaced the springs in both with brand new replacements , added Delrin under the spring cup , upped weights to 64s from 62s.new belt.team blue to try in the primary , team silver currently installed.secondary just a brand new stocker replacement (poo red / black)

chaincase drained and cleaned, bottom sprocket blue loctited, everything tourqued to spec , kept geared 1.8 to one (for now, 21/42 to try later), replaced both driveshaft bearings, greased the jackshaft/driveshaft fittings, refilled chaincase with fresh chaincase fluid.replaced the broken speedo key.

theroughly cleaned the valve system , replaced the springs, bellows and gaskets.

general cleaning of engine bay. believe me, it was due.lol.

rear suspension ;

greased all fittings with lucas lithium grease, blocked her full of it lol. , replaced the 2 upper idler wheels with the spacers the torsion springs sit on. replaced every bogie wheel bearing with ntn blackice Teflon bearings. rebuilt both shocks. brand new set of poo hd springs.set straps fully out.

drained the old fuel.replaced the hood vents with red mesh style, replaced grey belly pan protector with a red one, red ski loops for the stocker skis , have a white set of powder hounds to try mid season. replaced stock seat with a pro xr shorty.installed a calibrated tach.led headlight bulbs.2 inch riser on bars.new set of plugs.

might be able to get by on the front shocks this season,or may rebuild for the fuck of it.undecided.they don't seem bad.engine compression is 125/124 so im going to leave that for now.its currently stored at a detailing shop.shes getting the full detail treatment in a month or so's time and then covered till the snow flies.

so yeah , the rest is just suspension and belt adjustments. think ill go fire her up tomorrow to ensure everythings on right etc. guess we will see.here goes nothing lol.thanks for the advice and tips guys.its strange how doing this stuff and restoring the old gurl gives me a sense of pride. you guys are top notch of any forum I ever been part of.cheers.
